Forum Title: flex metal installation
I haven't installed a flexible gripper in so many years that I've forgotten how to do it without putting a kink in it while trying to make a curve. Not sure if it's me or new lower quality metal, so if anyone has some helpful tips I'm all ears.

You don't say the curve( inside, outside) or how tight. We did one last week, and ten years ago. I was thinking bucket to shape curve. We did a tight outside corner where my brother said the metal overlapped, didn't come out that great as the clampdown looked a little distorted. We use the slide hammer to fasten most metals now. I didn't pay too much attention to him installing it as I assumed it was an easy task. I remember having to use a straightedge as a guide to keep it straight. Good question, I can use some booster tips.

yeah, but the metal is thinner than it used to be and it kinks to easily. it was an inside corner over a vinyl I had just layed in an entry way.
